One family, three very different laundry loads: heavy work clothes, delicate sarees, kids' uniforms in muddy monsoon shoes. Using one detergent for everything either wastes money or damages fabric. Here's how the Whitix fabric care range is split — and which product suits which load.
Whitix Superwash — heavy soil and family loads
High-foam, high-enzyme formula built for cotton kurtas, bedsheets, towels, kids' uniforms and outdoor wear. Removes turmeric, tea, oil and mud stains. Works in top-load and semi-automatic machines and by hand. Use 25g per kg of dry laundry.
Whitix Eco Detergent — daily wear and delicates
Low-foam, plant-derived surfactant blend with a milder pH. Kind on colours and elastic fibres, so it's the right pick for gym wear, undergarments, kurtis and everyday shirts. Front-load and HE-machine safe. Rinses out completely with less water — the eco bit isn't just marketing.
Whitix Lightwash pouches — hostels, travel, single loads
Pre-measured 35g pouches, one per bucket or per small machine load. No jars to store, no scoops to spill. Made for hostels, PGs, travel and homes where a big box would go stale before it's finished.
Pro tip
Overdosing detergent is the #1 laundry mistake. Extra powder doesn't clean more — it leaves residue on the fibre, dulls colours and shortens fabric life. Use the scoop.
Match the wash cycle
Cotton and heavy load → 60–90 min cycle with warm water and Superwash. Everyday load → 40 min cool cycle with Eco. Delicates → 20 min gentle cycle with Eco and a mesh laundry bag.
Stain-first, not detergent-first
For visible stains, dab a little of the detergent solution directly on the stain for 5 minutes before loading. Even the best detergent works better with a head start.
